Our Beginnings
Kittle's Home was founded by Dan Kittle in 1994. Dan, who had worked in the carpeting business, recognized a market segment that had been overlooked—hardwood flooring.
With the experience and connections he gained in the industry, he was able to open his own store in Dania Beach, FL. After nine years of successful operations, he relocated the business to Cooper City to offer his customers better, more convenient service.
Initially, Dan focused on a conservative range of products, all centered around hardwood floors. He also offered services such as wood refinishing and maintenance. Over the years, the product selection expanded to include carpet, laminate, and other highly-requested flooring options.
Homeowners were thrilled with Dan's work, and they trusted his crew. Many locals turned to Kittle's for their flooring needs, and the company’s trucks became a familiar sight in the Broward communities.
The Rebranding
In 2015, the Tardugno family acquired Kittle's Home. Under the new management, the company underwent a rebranding to appeal to those seeking high-quality products and expert craftsmanship. The Tardugno family introduced fresh ideas and concepts, eager to bring them to the South Florida community, while still upholding the high standards Dan had established.
As part of the rebranding, new products and services were added to our offerings. Kittle's began providing kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, countertops, tile flooring, marble flooring, and more.
